The French star Gasquet cruised past Uzbekistans Denis Istomin 6-4, 6-2, while the third-seeded Lopez, playing in his second match of the day, handled American Sam Querrey 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) in Fridays semifinals at Devonshire Park.
